Working as a bus driver is a great way to meet lots of people and contribute to our city. We are looking for people who are friendly and want to deliver excellent service to our customers. You also need to be prepared to work rostered shifts.
You need to hold a current Class 2 licence and P endorsement, and have some experience driving heavy vehicles in urban areas.
Our training course is fully accredited with the NZQA and supported by the Tranzqual ITO. All new drivers qualify for a National Certificate in Passenger Services (Large Passenger Vehicle) on completion of the training course. Currently 80% of Red Bus Limited drivers hold this qualification. We even pay you as you are being trained.
