Red Bus is looking for feedback from residents in the Oxford, Cust and Swannanoa areas on a proposal to run a week day service morning and evening commuter bus service from Oxford direct to the Christchurch city bus exchange.
“We had been approached by some Oxford locals about a commuter service similar to our Darfield service, so we set up this survey to test the level of demand and get some feedback on timetable, route and fare.
Our Darfield customers think their service works well. No need to run the car, avoid congestion and parking hassles while having time to read or relax on the journey.
If you would like this service for your area please let us know by completing this survey or by giving us a call on 03 39 4260” said Paul McNoe, Red Bus Chief Executive
The survey is on the Red Bus website www.redbus.co.nz and the feedback will be analysed early August. If there is enough interest a service could start within the month.
